BRIAN JENKINSONJENKINSON BRIAN The family of the late Brian would like to thank friends for cards and kind words. Especially Southfield Court for the kindest and care of Brian. Retired teachers and friends from Huddersfield Recorded Music Society. All Hallows Church, especially the Vicar for the service and tribute. Thanks also to the Mackness Funeral Services. special thanks to Barbara, Alan and Steven who have been a tower of strength over the last few months.

Brian was the son of Winfred Heeley of Berry Brow daughter of Clement Heeley choirmaster and organist of St Pauls Church Armitage Bridge.
His father was Herbert Jenkinson of Jenkinson bros, Funeral Directors and Transport Services Fitzwilliam st Garage and George Hotel Livery Stables, Green Street. He was an active member of St Micheals Church, Aspley until the church became redundant, he then went to Christ Church, Moldgreen then Allhallows at Almondbury he was a school teacher and taught at various schools throughout the borough with his last being Fartown, where he taught religious studies, he also loved acting and was a member of various outfits usually playing vicars or policemen he served in the RAF towards the end of the war and served in Egypt and Israel; he did toffee and sweet making for various church bazaars. He also donated money to various churches and appeals his cousin was the late Canon Charles Shells of Wells. Religion seemed to run in the family, he had a sister June. All this info for future reference
