A great big thanks to all who donated money as a tribute to Doris. A grand total of £205 was raised for Action Aid. Doris liked to support charities so this is a fitting tribute.
Thanks again xx

To everyone who has made a tribute here - many thanks, means a lot to us. Mums funeral went off very well, I think we gave her a fitting celebration of her life with the dignity and respect she truly deserved.
Thanks to everyone who attended, fully understand the ones who couldn't.
Mum will be missed by all who knew her, forever in our hearts, remembered with fondest love xx

Well Doris ,Doreen , Do, you went by many names but to me you was Nan and you were The best Nan any body could ask for you were one of the kindest humans ever, I will cherish all our shopping trips and memories I miss just turning up on a day off, looking through the Hinckley times paper with you for a new car usually , taking you to woodlands garden center or Dobbies or just nipping to the local Asda to find something nice for our tea, I miss just turning up to wash my car and have a good moan about life and you would always listen to me and offer advice, the last few years I have hardly seen you but I know that we missed each other and looked back on our time together with fond memories you was like a second mum to me and I’ll forever be greatfull for how you shaped me into the person I am today you had a wicked sense of humour too and I’ll miss all the silly memories I’m glad you are at peace now and back with Ray and Chris go put the kettle on and fetch him a cherry bakewell take care of each other and get Chris some pork pies and mustard has to be Colman’s !
I’ll think of you when I’m in the garden
Untill we meet again take care all my love Dale xxx
