VeraBRIGGSPassed away on January 9, aged 100 years. Vera was a manager of a retail shop in Accrington for many years. She was a member of the Ernest Street Baptist Chapel and loved going to Tuesday friends every week up until moving to Pendle Brook Nursing Home. Vera also loved holidaying in Llandudno. Vera was the beloved wife of the late Earshaw Briggs who passed away in 2001, mother of Geoff and Graham, mother-in-law of Marilyn and the late Janet, grandma to Philip, Rachel, Elizabeth, Stuart, Katie, Rachel and great grandma to Josh, Cody, Luke, Jack, Jessica, Ebony, Rebecca and Sienna. Her funeral will take place on Monday, January 23 at Ernest Street Baptist Chapel at 11.15am, conducted by Rev Ian Ley, then at the crematorium at 12.20pm.
