Was only thinking of Dave the other day when I was down Freemo, all his old haunts have changed hands now. He was a character and made me laugh when he came in Eric's 2nd hand shop

Rest in Peace Dave x

Dave was a one off, never to be repeated, wonderful character and a good mate for over 50 years. He was always willing to help you out - if you could find him!
Good memories of trips to Bawtrey and many other jaunts, and the banter over coffee and biscuits in the mornings in later years.
We thought he would last forever. RIP Dave, you’ll be missed.
