John MartinBRODDLEIt is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of
John Martin Broddle (81) of Caistor
on Friday 3 July 2026,
in the excellent care of St Andrew's Hospice.
John will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren and friends.
John was Lincolnshire "born and bred", spending his childhood surrounded by dogs and horses in Brocklesby. He grew up with a love of the countryside, farming and nature. After studying animal husbandry at Riseholme College he was employed by Cherry Valley Farms where he remained for 39 years.
John was a keen sportsman and enjoyed, at various times, football, cricket, darts, bowls and golf. He enjoyed being outdoors, horse riding, cricket and gardening.
There will be a private family funeral.
If desired, donations will be gratefully received for
St. Andrew's Hospice.
