Lost touch after my parents Jack and Barbara Bullock died. Uncle Raymond was very good to my dad in his final months.

I have very happy memories working with Ray with my dad, John, at Edward Wood and sons, Parker Street, Derby. He was a very good bricklayer, one of the best my dad often said. Quite often they would work a night shift doing alterations in many M&S stores in the East Midlands. He was a lovely, funny and entertaining man. The one thing that always stayed with me was his habit of folding his £5 & £10 notes in a certain way. All neatly folded and creased. I asked him why he did that and he replied that if one came back to him he would know that he'd had it before.. such a great character that kept us all entertained at work. God bless you Ray. You were a much loved man. Rest in peace

Thinking of you all at this sad time. He was a good friend and work mate to my dad Johnny "Higgo" (R.I.P).
Sending love to all, especially to Dot who I worked with for many years. X
