Rita Rosetta JuneBURGESSDue to recent frail health, Rita passed away on 3rd April 2020. She had been approaching her 91st year and was the last of her brothers and sisters, namely Jack, Peggy, Betty, Ronnie and Jane. She will be sadly missed by her nephews and nieces and their extended families. A private cremation is to take place. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired, payable to Cancer Research UK or an animal charity of choice may be sent c/o W J Winn Funeral Director, 69 Fore Street, Hayle, TR27 4DX, Tel: 01736 752124

Sorry we won’t be seeing you off in person today Rita but we are happy to be leaving you in very good hands. We will be singing along to your favourite hymn ‘ The Lord’s my Shepherd’ but perhaps not as well as you would have done with your soprano voice. We will also raise a toast to you a little later on. A G&T will certainly be the order of the day.
We will miss you but we all have our own memories to look back on.

I got to know Rita through her nephew Carlos. I have memories of coastal visits exploring in Cornwall ...the county I love and grew up in ( but moved away )....I also have memories of putting the world to rights with conversations with Rita ( and David too in the past ) And of course, and not forgetting the obligatory gin + tonic ( or two ! ) Sadly missed....sorry due to the lockdown unable to travel from London to Cornwall for the service on Weds 22 April at 10.30am....will be thinking of you Rita .... love Judith x x
