Iris AnneBURKEIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Iris Anne Burke, who passed away peacefully on Friday 17th July 2026, aged 93 years.
Iris is now reunited with her beloved late husband, Peter John Burke, with whom she shared many happy years.
Her greatest legacy is the loving family she leaves behind: her children; Jane, Jeanette and Angeline, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and devoted sister Shirley, who reflect the love, kindness, and values she shared throughout her life.
Rest peacefully, Iris. You will be forever loved and never forgotten.
Funeral service to be held at St Peter's Church, Chellaston on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 10.45am followed by the interment at Chellaston Cemetery. Black attire is not necessary, please wear what you feel comfortable in, with a splash of colour.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for the residents at the Coach House, Milford House Care Home. These may be given at the service.
