KennethBURROWSPeacefully passed away on the 7th April 2010, aged just 65 years, with all of his family around him. Ken lost his battle with cancer and his suffering is now over. He will be sadly missed by his wife Christine and his daughters Emma and Indira and their only granddaughter Stella. The funeral will be held at 11.00am 20th April in the Chapel, in Northern, Bulwell Cemetery in Nottingham where Ken will be laid to rest in his home town. One and thirty years together it was us against the rain, we braved the stormy weather, now parting is such pain. We say Au Revoir not goodbye, always remembered, never forgotten. We love you so much.

We all think about you my darling husband Ken:

Eternal Love

When counting all the blessings in my hoard,
and placing them in order of acclaim,
I'll not forget the love received and stored,
inside my heart where there is still a flame.

A deep affection, tender and desired,
remembered with a fondness richly laced
with kindness that will never be retired,
delivered with a smile and faithful grace.

And in my dreams I feel your presence near,
advising me, supporting every step;
and when I am upset and shed a tear,
I have the strength to battle and be prepped.

You touched my life in ways I never knew,
the silence still leaves signs, our love was true.

Thoughts of You this Christmas 2024

To terminate my grief, I think of you,
as memories are deep, my weeping done;
my eye's no longer wet, my troubles few,
and vivid are those times, we had such fun.

The flutter is still present in my heart,
I see your face, and hear your words of love,
you speak to me, though we are now apart,
those whispers reach me from the stars above.

I feel your presence, I am not alone,
when walking paths that we once stepped together;
we're holding hands, you're chatting on the phone,
and never do we feel inclement weather.

Goodbyes are brief, but history will last,
there is no grief when thinking of the past.

A Recipe for Love

When love becomes so deep it glows in eyes,
and sparkles with a zestful zing within,
as it exudes and conquers with surprise
a union of spirits shall begin . . .

a fruitful journey into the unknown,
a marriage of two souls unite in faith,
to never be in solitude— alone,
and in each other’s arms they can embrace.

The compromise has only just begun,
and reaching for the stars may take some time,
a sense of humour also adds some fun,
with understanding words, love is sublime.

A recipe of love to last forever,
when marriage bonds these lovers close together.

Still missing you my darling Ken x x x
