Anthony JohnCARTWRIGHTIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony John Cartwright, known to many as Tony, who died peacefully on 9th March 2025 at the age of 81. Tony was the beloved husband of Irene, a loving father, a devoted grandad and great-grandad, and a wonderful friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service to celebrate Tony's life will take place on Thursday 3rd April 2025 at 10:00 AM at Carmountside Crematorium. All those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the crematorium wearing bright colours, as requested by Tony himself.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in Tony's memory would be greatly appreciated and can be made to The Brain Tumour Charity, Dementia UK, and Scotia Heights Care Home.
