KathleenCASSONof Cowpe Road, Cowpe, Waterfoot, passed away at home on Sunday, December 6, aged 86. She worked as a stamper at City Leather Slipper Works for over ten years prior to retirement. Kathleen loved travelling abroad with her husband and friends. She also enjoyed reading and going to the cinema. Wife of the late Godfrey, and a much-loved mum to Graham and Elaine, she leaves son-in-law Braden and grandchildren Ryan and Stacey and great-grandchildren A funeral will be held at 11.45am on Friday, December 18, at the Chapel of Rest, administered by Kathy Unsworth, followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery. Family flowers only please, however donations, if desired, to Dementia UK. Donations can be made online by visiting www. fredhamer.co.uk - tributes and donations.
