John JosephCHATTERLEYFormerly of Fenton and Meir Park. Passed peacefully at home aged 78, surrounded by his loving family. A loving brother to Joan and the Late Dot. Brother in Law and friend to Geoff and the Late George. Loving uncle and great uncle, and good friend to those who knew him. John will be sadly missed by those closest to him. Funeral service on Friday 9th September 2022 at Carmountside 4pm. Will family and friends meet at Carmountside. Family flowers only please. A celebration of John's life will take place after the service at Potters Bar, Meir Park. All who knew John and wish to join are welcome.

Only just seen this, some sixteen months later, John was a shearer driver at Hem Heath Colliery and a fine workmate, Rest well pal........you've earned it.
