Whilst you were the eldest, like Peter Pan, you never quite grew up. Whilst I remember when I was little, you working with great people, like Hazel and Guy, who said you could clock off now and leave your more recent colleagues at Wincanton without a great boss, based on what they have told me. Let alone, thinking you could leave your children unsupervised, without an adult in the room, or, your favourite child, Bella (the dog), without her best mate, who I know she misses. I know Emily will take great care of her. I know Mum will be talking to you, asking you why you thought now was the time to leave physically, but as Mum always said, "If you keep alive talk of those sadly gone, then they are still with us in our hearts." As Helen Keller said, "What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." So whilst you are leaving me with an unresolved issue to deal with and others with unfinished DIY, I know you will meanwhile be asking Nana Claricoates for a slice of her infamous lemon drizzle. RIP brother.
