Best known for 53 years at British Gas and being a keen lover of all sports.

The funeral service will take place on Monday 9th December 2024, in Cannon Hill chapel, Canley Crematorium at 1:30pm.

Family floral tributes only please, but if you wish to make a donation in memory of Barry, all donations are to The British Heart Foundation. These can be placed in the donation box at the service, or online via Funeral Notices at www.ajlloyd.co.uk

Rest in peace Baz, thank you for your friendship at ‘the gas’. You were a character that will never be emulated. I’ll never forget our nights on call and your hatred for technology! And I’ll certainly miss the funny stories that nobody would believe.

Thank you for being my Dad. I could not have had a better one. You and Mum gave me everything you could and I appreciate that.
We had some great laughs. You always had a joke, good or bad, or a moan, ready when I visited.
The last few months had been so tough and you were battling through. I don’t know why you were taken so soon, but at least it was peaceful.
I will miss you so much. God bless Dad and Rest in Peace.
