Marjorie MaryCLEGGIt is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of Marjorie Mary Clegg, on Wednesday, March 13, surrounded by her much-loved family.
The wife of the late Bob Clegg and mum of their late son Gary, also grandma of the late Nicole. Marjorie leaves behind her daughter and best friend Barbara, son in law Mark, great grandson Jake, granddaughters Libbi and Hannah and their partners, Judita, Harry and Carly. Also, her brother Eddie and nieces Deborah and Michelle and Gary’s two children.
Marjorie worked alongside Bob in Accrington Market, firstly on Clegg’s Family’s Butchers stall, then they ran Peggy’s Café for many years, before retiring. Marjorie and Bob found happiness holidaying in Bournemouth and spending precious time with their family.
In accordance with Marjorie’s wishes, on April, 4 a Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph’s Church Accrington at 10.15am, followed by a committal at Accrington Crematorium at 11.40am.

We invite all who loved and cherished her to join us in celebrating her life at The White Bull, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle afterwards.
