ValerieCOATESIt is with great sadness that Val aged 82 years passed away peacefully after a long illness, bravely fought, on the
8th April 2025 with her loving family by her side.
Much loved mam of Steve, Marie and Tina, dear mother-in-law to Louise and Roger,
Adored nanna and great nanna. Val was also a sister, sister-in-law, auntie, cousin, and a great friend to many who shall be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Val was a dinner lady of over 35 years at Strand Infants School and fondly known as Mrs Ling/Coates.
A service to celebrate Val's life shall be held Grimsby Minster on Friday 9th May 2025 at 1pm, followed by committal at Scartho Road Cemetery.
Flowers welcome or donations in Val's memory can made to The Stroke Unit, a donation box shall also be made available on the day.
