Alex would like and try to claim Grandads birthday gifts. He would be the one getting stuck into the birthday cake whilst we would be singing happy birthday. Alex would bring grandad so much joy and happiness and get away with anything.

Grandad and you will be pottering about wherever you are I'm sure. I imagine you are both warm and cosy even in this snowy cold weather. No more feeling drafts and are healthy and comfortable in the spirit world x

Alex and I went to dog fest yesterday. You would have loved it. Our dog Toby went behind the wheel of a fire engine 🚒. We had an icecream 🍦 with a flake, what we would normally have when you took me to shows. The tradition must be forever continued. There were thousands of dogs. I could imagine you chuckling at some of the sights we saw. Oooing and ahhing at their talents.

I haven't felt the need to connect and share with you on here for a while. I have been attending the Spiritualist Church demonstration evening regularly and receiving communications from you and Nain. I am reassured that you are with us and hear us speak to you. If I have my doubts or need guidance I know I can turn to you still. This has helped me with the loss of your physical presence. For a medium to actually tell me that before coming one evening, you were both watching Alex blowing bubbles, which he was, blows my mind. Alex loves that you are around us and proud of him. I have brought him up as you did me.

This being fathers day, I want to share my appreciation of such an amazing role model. The father figure and grandfather that only the fondest memories were made with, along with the life skills, encouragement and acceptance you offered.

Thoughts are with my Grandads beautiful soul mate, my Nain and his mother, my Great Gran this Mothering Sunday. Both strong characters who Grandad loved dearly. Their memories I cherish and I will always value and admire them as role models. 💐
