James FrancisCOLEMANJames Francis Coleman Passed away peacefully On Wednesday 7th February 2024, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, aged 77. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral to take place at Lodge Hill Crematorium on Thursday 14th March 2024 at 10:45a.m. Donations if desired to RSPB.

Jim was a man full of surprises. He was one of my Engineers when I managed Pdi. Jim was full of surprises and always knew how to come up with a conversation stopper when he used to tell us about his global travels that used to facinate us. After we all left Birmingham Optical we used to meet up for a curry two or three times a year. We’d all sit there sharing our stories about Birmingham Optical and put the word to rights.
Jim, you’ll be missed. God speed to you mate the heavens are yours to travel.
