JeanCONSTABLEJean Constable passed away peacefully in her Coventry home on the 11th of September 2026 after spending a lovely day celebrating her 90th birthday with family and friends. Jean was a dedicated mother who raised two sons, Stuart and Darren, following the passing of her husband Colin License. She met Arthur Constable late in life and they began a loving partnership. Jean and Arthur spent all of their time together. They travelled, collaborated on calligraphy and cross-stitch projects, and enjoyed many happy moments in their new community on Shadowbrook Road. After Arthur's passing, Jean proved once again to be a truly resilient woman. She was active in her community and lived an independent life with the support of friends and carers. She was fulfilled by her dedicated sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family. Jean Constable leaves behind the proud legacy of a Briton who lived through 90 years of history, rising above every challenge, and making this world a better place with her calm and stalwart presence. Funeral services will be held at Canley Crematorium on 5th October at 12:15.
