With Deepest Love It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jillian Amanda Cooke on 20th August 2026, at Dove House Hospice, following a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Jill was a wonderful wife to the late David, mother to Timothy, Andrew, James and Charlotte, daughter of the late Jim and Hilda, sister to Trevor, grandmother to Nicholas, Chloe, Aimee, Connor, Lilly-Grace and Reuben, and great grandmother to Remi, Ede-Mae and Brodie - a woman whose warmth, humour, and gentle strength touched every life around her. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends, and by the many people who were fortunate enough to know her.
Honouring her wishes, Jill will have a private cremation on 4th September.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday 6th September 2026 at 2:00pm Country Park Inn, Hessle. All who were acquainted with Jill, in any chapter of her life, are warmly welcome to join us in remembering, sharing stories, and celebrating the love she brought into the world.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Dove House Hospice, whose care, compassion, and kindness supported Jill and her family during her final days.
