Michael PatrickCOYNEIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Patrick Coyne, who died peacefully on Tuesday, March 12 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Margaret Coyne; his three children, Michael, Krystyne, and John; his daughters-in-law, Deborah and Joanne; and his five grandchildren, Shaun, George, Mia, Jayden, and Phoebe. Michael, a devoted Catholic, spent 10 years of his life living in Canada, where he shared his faith within a brotherhood. Throughout his life, he found joy in interests such as dancing, gardening, and travelling; some of his favourite places being Portugal and Lanzarote. Michael’s absence will be deeply felt by friends and family as he was the life and soul of every gathering, entertaining everyone with his witty sense of humour. In accordance with Michael’s devotion to his Catholic faith, a Requiem mass will be held at St Anne’s Church in Accrington, Monday, March 25 at 10am, conducted by FR Francis Wadsworth. Thereafter, Michael will be laid to rest at Accrington cemetery and a reception will take place following this at The Canine Club. We invite all who loved and cherished Michael to join us in commemorating his life. In memory of Michael, donations to Saint Anne’s RC Church are gratefully accepted.
