BrendaCROPPERof Barnes Avenue, Oakley, Rawtenstall, passed away on March 26 at Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Brenda worked at Ilex Mill as a bus conductress (clippy) from 1959-1971. She was manageress at Pavillion Bingo Hall, Rawtenstall and then spent 25 years at Rossendale General Hospital as a catering assistant. She enjoyed knitting, puzzles, crosswords and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Brenda leaves sons Harry and Colin, daughter Julie, daughter-in-law Jane, son-in-law Mick, and sister Pat. Grandma of the late Leanne, she leaves six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Led by Rev David Burrow, there will be a small service at St James at 1pm on Thursday, April 3, followed by service and cremation in Burnley at 1.45pm.
