OnetaCUMBERBATCHOneta Cumberbatch also known as "Doote" born in St Joseph Barbados, on the 6th September 1940. The daughter of Grendaline Parris and Clarance Small and mother of the Late Ronald, Jennifer, Marion, Stephen, Anson, the Late Sharon and Wayne. Oneta passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren at her home on the 14th June 2026, aged 85.

Oneta ,will sadly be missed by her children, her daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

The funeral service will take place at St Paul's Church, Foleshill on the 31st July at 12:00.

On behalf of my immediate and extended family, I extend deepest condolences to the children, grandchildren, and other close relatives and friends of the late Oneta Cumberbatch. We wish to assure you of our prayers at this time of great loss. We thank God for her work, witness, and contribution to her family and country. Her beautiful smile and gentle demeanor were indeed infectious. May she rest in peace and rise in glory!

A very nice lady. Will always remember her in a positive light, as in the many years I have known her, she was always smiling

Saddened to hear this news as Jennifer and I had recently discussed ideas on how to increase Mrs Cumberbatch's quality of life by possibly getting her out and about. Unfortunately we did not get the chance, however,
I don't doubt that she is looking down and smiling away as she always was.
Take care Mrs Cumberbatch. Be happy.
