Beloved husband of the late Doreen, much loved father of Susan, John and the late Maureen, father in law of George, loving grandad of Barry, Mark, Danielle, Ryan and Kynan, and a much loved great grandad. Funeral service to take place at Tynemouth Crematorium on Tuesday 29th June at 2.15pm. Floral tributes may be sent to Co-op Funeralcare, Billy Mill Avenue, North Shields, NE29 0QR. Ron was a former pit blacksmith, Labour Councillor for Tynemouth, Scottish National Officer of NUPE and President of the STUC. Forever a union man.
