MaureenCURRYThe family of Maureen Curry announces her passing; with her son and daughter at her bedside she passed away peacefully at Blackburn Royal Hospital on Thursday, January 14. Maureen was born on June 3, 1939 in Great Harwood. Married to the late Jack Curry, she will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Eileen and her sons David and the late Michael Curry, grandchildren Bethany and Aaron, her brother Bernard and sister in-law Anthea, and nieces and nephews. Maureen worked as a machinist in the weaving industry, then later at the card factory Joseph Arnold, and Marks and Spencer’s when she retired in 1996. The funeral will take place at 1pm on Friday, February 5 at Accrington Crematorium. Family and friends’ flowers only. Funeral director: Wolstenholmes Funeral Service
