MalcolmDALLIMOREBorn on 4th November 1943 in New Tredegar, Malcolm, sadly passed away on 18th March 2025, at this home in Heol-Y-Waun, Gelligaer in the arms of his beloved wife Gwyneth and surrounded by immediate family.
Malcolm and Gwyneth recently celebrated their 62-year wedding anniversary. Malcolm was not only Gwyneth's husband but also her best friend. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gwyneth; his children Gerry (Maggie), Michelle (Neil), Jason (Suzanne); his grandchildren Jacob, Joseph, Jasmine, Alex, Daniella, Samantha, Kristan and great-grandchildren Jaxton, Logan, Finn, Hadleigh and Archie.
Malcolm was a coal miner for 32 years and his DIY skills were somewhat unique. He enjoyed caravan holidays to Porthcawl and going to Blackpool with his beloved wife. He also enjoyed places of historical interest and history. Malcolm's laugh was infectious, as was his wit, he shared this with all who knew him, it was a true gift.
The funeral will take place on Thursday 17th April. The funeral cortege will leave 25 Heol-Y-Waun, Gelligaer at 11.30 am; service at St. Catwgs Church, Gelligaer at 12 noon, followed by an interment at Gelligaer Cemetery at 1pm.
Following the interment, everyone is welcome to join the family for refreshments at the Harp Inn, Gelligaer.
