Denis CharlesDALYPassed away suddenly on Friday 16th May 2025 whilst out running, a sport he loved. A loving husband to Joy, father to Sarah and Laura, treasured grandad to Isla, Joshua and Isabella and loved stepfather and step grandfather. Sadly missed by all. A former headteacher of St Peter & St Paul, Coventry, St Mary Immaculate, Warwick and Harbury C of E. The funeral will take place at Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium, Cannon Hill Road, Coventry, CV4 7DF on Tuesday 3rd June 2025 at 12pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for The British Heart Foundation to A Pargetter & Son Ltd, Funeral Directors, City Mews, Lamb Street, Coventry CV1 4AE (Tel: 02476 223343)

So sad to learn of the passing of Mr Daly, I remember him well as a pupil of SSPP from 85-92 and saw him a few years back at my sons football - lovely man..sending love and condolences to his family and loved ones RIP Sir

Sad to see Mr Daly as passed away.As a ex dinner lady at at SSPP school.He was a lovely caring head master to his children and staff.i can remember the dinner times when he as come into the play ground and played football with the children.R.I.P.x.

Many fond memories of Mr Daly at SSPP. He was always there for all the children in his care. Our children have wonderful memories of their time at SSPP and treasure them; often talking about them.

Many memories as a family of Denis and his fantastic time at St Peter and Paul’s, and his commitment to the education of the children. He is remembered fondly by our children and the help he gave them to reach their potential. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to Joy and all his family at this sad time. R.I.P.

I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Denis's sudden passing. I will always have fond memories of working with him at Ss Peter and Paul. He was a lovely man and a great headteacher.
