The obituary notice of Clair DAVENPORT

I knew Claire as Claire Hughes as we were in the same class all the way through High School. She was a lovely girl, friendly, fun, always smiling. We lost touch after leaving school and didn’t see each other again until we were 36 years old and someone organised a School Reunion, 20 year anniversary after leaving. It was lovely to see Claire again on that evening. She had not changed, a lovely soul, friendly, chatty, smiling and we had a good catch up.
Very sorry to hear of her passing, way too soon. My condolences to her family. Rest in Peace Claire, you are an Angel now.

Our deepest condolences to you Pete and Will, Clair was a beautiful soul with the most loving and kind nature. She will be forever looking over you both from heaven and her love for you both knew no bounds. You were both truly soul mates. Rest in peace Clair until you meet again. Love Simon and Melanie xxx

Clair was someone with a rare and beautiful gift, a lovely, big heart that had room for everyone. She gave her kindness freely, loved deeply, and made the world a brighter place just by being herself.

Her gentle spirit and generous nature left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

We will surely miss her. While she may be gone from our sight, the love she shared will live on in our hearts forever.


Rest in peace, dear Clair. You will be so deeply missed.
