Rachel AletheaDAVIESMary (formerly Gudgel) Peacefully on Monday Dec 16, aged 92 years, at Oakwood Nursing Home, Landare, Rachel; beloved wife of the late William George Davies, dearly loved mother of twins, Elizabeth and Alethea, sadly missed by her loving grandson, Gwilym, his wife, Emily, and great-grandson Henry. A lifetime of teaching in Mountain Ash Comprehensive and working in local Youth Clubs brought her great satisfaction and much respect from her colleagues and pupils. Private cremation at Llwydcoed Crematorium on Monday Dec 23 followed by a Memorial Service at St Margaret’s Church, Aberaman at 11am.
