HarryDAVIESpassed away on Saturday, November 2, aged 75. Harry was a wonderful brother and uncle, he was a kind-hearted man who was well-liked by everyone who knew him. Harry thoroughly enjoyed pub quizzes and was very knowledgeable. He loved to socialise and this is where he made many lifelong friends. A day out at the races and a flutter on the horses was one of his pleasures. He did in the past enjoy playing darts to a decent standard in the local leagues and loved crosswords. Harry had a healthy appetite and was known to be able to finish a large breakfast faster than anyone else - he was nicknamed the Silver Raptor. Harry built good relationships with his colleagues at Express Gifts and Hambledon Studios where he worked as a warehouse operator for many years. Harry will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. He was a dearly-loved brother to Norman and Marion, dear brother-in-law to Molly and Alan, devoted uncle to Lorraine, Vincent, Jennifer, Rob, Steven, Julie, Michael, Sue and their families also a special friend to many. A funeral service and committal took place on Thursday, November 28, at Accrington Crematorium.
