John made us feel like family when we were overseas living in the UK. He had a gentle way and always had a sincere smile with a twinkle in his eyes. I am so sorry and sad we are not with you all today. Much love Molly

Norley Place holds such special memories from my childhood, and John was always the quiet centre amidst the storm of kids - and Maeve! I'm so grateful that I got to meet up with him and Maeve again in recent years and reminisce about those days. My condolences to Maeve, Maria, Catherine, Peader, Oonagh and all the Davis family. John will be greatly missed.
