Malcom DEAN ON Monday, March 23, Malcolm died peacefully at home aged 86, leaving his wife Anne, daughters Julie and Janet, their husbands and families of six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Malcolm began his working life as a plumber in Lower Darwen, then in his thirties answered his calling to become a Church of England minister serving God in parishes in Bolton, Rossendale and Liverpool. After retirement, through ill health, he continued to serve the Lord and was blessed to share his love of Christ with a large extended family of close friends. He was buried on Tuesday, March 31 at Haslingden Cemetery, with his first curate the Rev Will Donaldson officiating. Later in the year there will be a service to celebrate his life.
