Just returned from an emotional trip to Seil Island to lay Wullie to rest. A fantastic funeral and tribute to my best mate, many thanks to Lisa and all his sisters for organising the church, burial and wake. Wullie you were friend for 53 years, life won't be the same without you around. RIP until we mate again. All my love, your best pal Kirky

I can't believe it, my schoolfriend Willie is no longer. Remembering the days at Carluke High, him and Kirky being absolute hoots and as thick as thieves, absolutely addicted to Elvis and taking absolutely nothing seriously. Life moved on and I plost touch for a while then caught up again a few years ago. Not much had changed, thankfully, and it was great to spend some quality time with him at his home in London. He was a legend of a guy and a privilege to know him, RIP Willie ❤️
