Our mum was Rose Nelson and she worked with Barbara at Broadgreen Hospital for many years. Mum spoke so highly about Barbara who supported and encouraged mum during her work life, their friendship meant a lot to my mum. RIP Barbara. Family of the late Rose Nelson

My late mum Rose Nelson worked with Barbara in Broadgreen Hospital. They were very good friends, and I can always remember my mum talking about the laughs they would have in work. Condolences to all of Barbara’s family from the Nelson family.

We are so saddened by the loss of our dear Auntie. She was one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and hardworking people you could ever meet. She always put others first and touched the lives of so many with her warmth and generosity. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her. Rest in peace, Barbara xx
