Roy JohnDISLEYRoy passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Royal Stoke University Hospital on Saturday 25th March 2023, Roy aged 73 years of Hartshill the dearly loved and treasured dad of Judd and Kim, a loving father in law to Zoe and Ricci, a much loved and cherished grandad of Macy and Ella, a dearly loved and loving brother of Jimmy, Anita and Linda also a dear brother in law of Cath, Spencer and the late Paul. Roy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends. Funeral service to take place at Stoke Minster Church, Glebe Street, Stoke on Thursday 27th April 2023 at 12:00 noon prior to cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Will relatives please accept this intimation and would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church. I couldn’t be more proud to be your daughter in law Roy! The purest, loveliest, most incredible man in all of the world. We will miss you every second of every day, but I am so so grateful to have been part of your life for almost 9 years. Thank you for always just being you and not trying to be anything else! You are such a special soul, one of a kind, and we will love you until the end of time!

ROY THE BOY!!
Absolutely gutted to lose a LEGEND a top bloke and a great father. I can honestly say he’s been a great role model for me Growing up over the years.
When I used knock on for Judd for primary school, he’d always tell me come in sit down and do me some breakfast. Such a kind bloke.
Another memory was coming down penkhull bank in his painting van and him closing his eyes telling me and Judd we’ve got no breaks, he was always the 1 that got people smiling and laughing.
Your going be missed by everyone mate, thanks for everything Roy xx
