HelenDOUGLAS(Whickham) Passed away surrounded by her family on October 14th 2022 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, aged 88 years. Helen, devoted wife of Colin, dearly loved mother to Stephen, Kevin and Andrew, mother in law to Mary, Barbara Anne, Joan and Judy, treasured grandmother to Jonothon, Francesca, Sarah, Holly, Sophie, Archie and great grandmother to Henry and Charlie, also a dear sister to Margaret and the late Aileen and sister in law to Freda and Muriel. Helen was much loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St Mary's RC Church, Dockendale Lane, Whickham NE16 4EN on Thursday November 3rd at 9.45am followed by cremation at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton at 11.00am. Family flowers only please, a retiring collection if desired will be gratefully received for the Alzheimer's Society. The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care and support received from all the staff on Ward 1 at the QE Hospital.
