DOWNINGAged 74 years (retired Police Superintendant), passed away peacefully on May 28th 2001 at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. Dearly loved husband of Jean, father of Cheryl, Melanie, Anthony and Kay, also a dear father-in-law, grandfather and brother to Bill and Richard. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Thursday June 7th, service and cremation 1.45pm at Markeaton Crematorium.
