Julie AnneDOYLEIn Loving Memory of Julie Anne Doyle (née Hopper)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julie Anne Doyle (née Hopper), who died peacefully in her sleep on 19.3.25.
Julie dedicated 45 years of her life to nursing, caring tirelessly for the people of Plymouth and Devon. Her kindness, compassion, and strength touched the lives of so many. She leaves behind a lasting legacy in the care community.
Julie spent her teenage years living in Singapore - an experience she remembered fondly. During this time marked the beginning of her lifelong love for The Beatles, a passion that stayed with her always. One of her happiest memories came in December last year when she fulfilled a dream to see Paul McCartney perform live.
Julie treasured the summers she spent at Challaborough Bay, with her beloved cousins and their families. These sun-soaked days by the sea became some of her most precious memories, filled with laughter, love, and the simple joys of family togetherness.
Julie was a devoted mum to Louise, a loving mother-in-law to Daniel, and a proud grandma to Jasmine, who was the light of her life. Her family meant the world to her, and she filled their lives with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
A lifelong animal lover, Julie shared her home and heart with many beloved dogs over the years. In her memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Gables Farm Dogs & Cats Home in Plymouth - a cause especially dear to her heart.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Rest peacefully, Julie, Mum, Grandma. You gave so much to so many, and you will be loved and missed forever.
