AudreyDUFFY(née Purves) 1928-2023; aged 95.

The wider Duffy family are sad to announce that Audrey passed peacefully on Tuesday 31 October 2023 after living independently at her home for all but the final three weeks.

A great grandmother of Freya (and of Felix posthumously) much loved and sadly missed by Chris, Tim, Clare and all the family. The most determined spirit, very family centred, seeking to live life and whom persevered despite progressive impairments over many years. Devoted wife of the late William (1930-2001); most cherished only child of parents William (1897-1985) and Agnes (née Clarke 1899-1989).

Audrey's funeral will be held at South Tyneside Crematorium on Friday 24th November 2023 at 1:15pm with friends and family then returning to her home to pay tribute, share memories and celebrate her long life.
