My husband,Andrew, and I met Dee at a retreat held at the Belmont Abbey, Hereford about 20 years ago; and we became close friends ever since.
Andrew died 8 years ago and Dee stayed with the children and me in London after his funeral for about two weeks.
Even though she was in her eighties then, she kept up with the children when they took her sightseeing and some tourist attractions, which was a good distraction for them during those difficult first few weeks, and she was a mother figure to me when I needed one.
A very funny and witty lady. She had the children in stitches when she told them that she likes driving fast.
A great lover of formula 1 racing and always reminds me not to call her when the race is on.
I visited Dee few times and we spent some wonderful times together going to garden centres, attending her flower arrangement club etc.
A lady of great faith with a big heart 💜.
Thank you, Dee, for your friendship, love, prayers and wisdom.
We love you dearly and will miss your physical presence but you live on in our memories.
Rest in Peace 🙏 Amen ❣️ 💕
