Ed was the kind of person you could always count on—selfless, dedicated, and endlessly supportive. No task was ever too much trouble for him; no request ever went unanswered. He was the backbone of our platoon, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply be there when you needed him. His generosity of spirit and unwavering commitment to those around him earned him the highest respect of everyone at ATU(W).

His legacy will not just be in the uniform he wore with pride, but in the lives he touched and the example he set. I will honour his memory by striving to be as selfless, dedicated, and kind-hearted as he was.

To Kate and Jake, know that Ed was loved and admired more than words can express. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest easy, Ed. You will never be forgotten.
