Henry JosephERNESTPeacefully on Sunday 4th June 2023. Harry of Heol Trelai, Cardiff. Beloved husband of Sylvia, devoted dad to Harry, Ian and Glenn. A loving father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather and brother to George and the late Theresa and Gerald. A friend and inspiration to many. Resting at Ely Funeralcare until the funeral on Friday 30th June. Leaving Maria St., Butetown at 12pm for the Service at St. Mary the Virgin at 12.15pm, followed by internment 1:30pm at Western Cemetery and afterwards at the Butetown Community Centre to celebrate his life. Family flowers only but donations may be given to City Hospice.

Harry has always been very helpful and friendly known him a long time we went to Welsh classes together. Jenny and Louise. Will always love him and love to all his family xxx

Harry you were a truly special person. You gave so much of your time to others and family was obviously still uppermost. I won’t forget our time in junior club at North Ely and your laugh. I loved it. God bless you xxx

Harry Ernest was a special man.. He always gave his time to all the children at North Ely and the community as a whole. I will remember his kindness, his values and his friendship. I learnt a lot from him. Our sincere condolences to Sylvia, Harry, Ian, Glenn and their wives and children. Much love Dawn and Jon xxx
