ValerieEVANS (NICHOLLS)On New Year’s Day, peacefully at Down House, Valerie, aged 85, was reunited with her beloved husband Garfield.
An amazing, cherished and much loved Mum to Julie & Karen, Mother-in-law to Colin; Grandma to Vicky, Lee, Steve, Arron, Craig & Toni; Great Grandma, (GG), to Cailan, Ivan, Eveleigh, Ethan, Emily, Oscar & Arlo.
You suffered in silence, your wants were few, you never deserved what you went through. You can't come back, we know that's true, but one day when God's willing, we’ll come to you.
The last few years haven't been easy but your strength kept you with us. Now it's time for you to sleep, wonderful memories are ours to keep. Always and forever in our hearts and thoughts.
A very special Mum who was kind, caring, had a heart of gold, who would do anything for anyone. Although you took a piece of us with you, we also kept a piece of you, and you will live on in all of our hearts. Mum, just like stars in the sky – even though we can’t see you; we will always know that you are there. Fly high with Dad. All our love, always, Julie & Colin XXXX
You gave me life, taught me the importance of family, to respect others and put me right when I was wrong. My amazing Mum, I will miss you so much but will remember the happy times and the strength you showed to stay with us as long as you could. Love you Mum, Karen XXX
