Geoff employed me as a teacher at Castleton Primary 40 plus years ago and I'm still there. Lovely man and he and Reg kept me highly entertained during governor meetings. Would have loved to say goodbye at his funeral but unfortunately away that date

Mr Farr was my boss at Castleton Primary School before he retired. He was, without doubt, the best ‘boss’ I have ever had and I respected and enjoyed working for him immensely. He will be much missed by so many people who knew him.

Our primary school teacher at Spotland Primary School! Such a lovely, kind man and remembered by many of his former pupils. My friend Gillian Prowse ( nee Hanson) and myself, Jean Rawlinson ( nee Young), went to visit him years ago, just to express our gratitude to him for all he taught us. He will always be remembered fondly.
