David AlbertFARRARDied peacefully at Marling Court Care Home in Hampton on 2nd July following a period of ill health. Aged 95 years. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and brought up in Todmorden, Lancs., David lived in Gretton near Winchcombe for forty years. David was a keen botanist and his many interests included geology, walking and leading local walking groups. Widower of Edna Farrar, he leaves his son Graham, daughter-in-law Claire, widow of Julian and grandchildren Nicola, Alice and Jack. The funeral service will take place at Christ Church, Gretton at 12.30pm on Wednesday 26 July. Family flowers only please.
