To Marg’s family, sending you lots of love to let you know I’m thinking of you all on this very sad day. I miss your mum so much, she was a part of our lives for so long, even now three years later, it’s hard to believe I can’t visit her in Swallowhurst like I always did

It's really sad and so unexpected. We are so upset and still reeling from the shock. We have no details of John's funeral yet but I'll be sure to let you and current neighbours know as soon as we know.

It's very important to us that friends and neighbours get to pay their respects.

Thank you so much Janet for your lovely tributes - I've only just seen them. Mum and Dad would be thrilled to know how fondly they are remembered.
You are so right - we were so blessed to have good parents who cared and looked after us all.
Mum looked forward to your visits and that link to the past meant so much to her.

Thinking of you all yesterday.💜... I miss your mum so much!! But my memories of both her and your lovely dad will never fade, growing up in the seventies and moving away in the eighties but still coming back to see her ..... I felt very cosy in her house talking to Marg and being told to make my own tea .... which I had no problem doing, as your mum knew I liked my tea like water!,😃
