For 26 years, our lovely Mary wasn’t just our neighbour… she was family. A second mum to me, a gran to Archie & Ru, and one of life’s truly special souls.
You were the best cook ever, always there when Scott inevitably ran out of pasta, garlic… or wine . Your door was always open, whether for an ingredient emergency, a forgotten key, a proper catch-up, or one of our long garden chats where you’d proudly talk about your beautiful garden. I promise I’ll do my best to keep mine to a standard you’d actually approve of.
Thank you for your kindness, your warmth, your laughter, and for loving us like your own for all these years.
We will miss you more than words can say, Mary.
