Elizabeth LindFIRTHIt's with sadness that we write of the end of life on earth for our beloved mum and grandma. Betty was a mother to 10, grandma to 20 and great-grandma to 9. She was a storyteller, expert bingo player, warm-feeling spreader and a fighter. She lived in a world and through times in which life and society changed beyond imagination. She was an extraordinary woman who worked hard to support her family through the end of WWII and then found herself exploring the delights of Dubai decades later. She fought off cancer and 2 heart attacks, she travelled the globe and was an avid scratchcard collector. We are so sad about her passing, but so grateful for the family she gave us, and the spirit she showed us, and the joy she brought and experienced in her amazing life. Grandma, mum, great-grandma - we love you and we will miss you.
