I was thinking about Dave today and came across this ....so Sad. I worked with Dave in mid 70s we delivered for Currys He was a most intelligent and well spoken person I was younger but he treated me as equal a real Gent, told me many stories when he lived in france and about playing in clubs and bars around locally. It was a most enjoyable time working with him. Never forget Him a very Decent Human.

Dayve (he always used to insist on the y!) and I became friends at school in the early 1960s and have remained in touch ever since. We spent many happy hours together in our teens, playing guitars and writing songs, and shared a particular interest in French popular music. He was a very talented musician. I now live in France and will be unable to attend the funeral. My condolences to his family.
