Now Christmas time is dawning and although you're in my heart it's just the hardest time of all for us to be apart, (I Love You), but special memories will bring me strength and love will see me through, my tears will all be fleeting and I'll smile again for you. I miss your laugh, your sound so dear, the way you joked with Christmas cheer, the party starts in Heaven, the tears still flow on earth and although I know you're big and strong and standing by Gods side, He cannot heal my broken heart for all the years denied, all my life I will miss you, as the years come and go, but in my heart you will live forever Phil, because I love you so. Another Christmas has come around, and there's nothing I can do, but sit for a while and picture your smile, like I always do, I will light you a Christmas candle, and in the flame I'll see your face, my darling husband Phil smiling back at me. Phil did the sun shine brighter or was the sky a deeper blue, or was it just a different world when I shared my life with you, because forever is a long time, this I know is true, but that's how long my broken heart will love and yearn for you.
